Adding two more items to this bucket list today.
I want to read a classic book and read a biography.
I love to read and admittedly my reading consist of usually the norm, faith-based non-fiction books, the Bible and technology books/manuals(exciting right?!).
When was the last time I read a classic novel? Probably High School....if you consider Cliff Notes actually reading the book!
I am open. I will ponder to see which ones I should choose.
Any suggestions?

5 Response to Kickin the Bucket - Read a Classic and Read a Biography (What Do You Recommend?)
I would have to say classic. Biography writing in my opinion has gone from telling someones story to giving an opinion of someone's life.
Thanks Kevin...know to try to and find a good one.
Classics all the way! Heart of Darkness is a great one and it's short. Other greats are The Mysterious Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Time Machine, Frankenstein (if you're in the right mood), or Lord of The Rings, Enders Game, or 1984 if you're looking for something a bit more modern.
great suggestions there...I'll have to look at all of those...but Heart of Darkness sounds like the one I might go with.
I would say classic. I suggest Anne of Green Gables.
